March Performance Mopar big block Ultra Drive serpentine conversion kits solve the problem of unreliable V-belt accessory drives for Chrysler 383-400 and 400 applications. No more belt throwing or slipping! A unique combination bracket mounts the alternator and A/C in a compact manner. March's power steering bracket accepts a standard Saginaw pump (or their own billet pump, for added style). The idler guarantees plenty of belt wrap for high performance, no-slip operation. Kit components are precision CNC-machined from 6061-T6 aluminum for strength and perfect fit; they're finished with a clear powdercoat. The 3-piece kits are machined from 6061 T-6 aluminum for extra strength and long wear, and covered with a "no polishing" clear powdercoated finish. The pulleys are available in Performance Series or a high water flow ratio. Performance Series pulleys typically create up to 12 hp at the rear wheels by reducing accessory drag. They also eliminate belt throwing and are designed for normal street driving. High water flow ratio pulleys increase cooling by increasing water flow and fan speed. This helps at critical low-speed driving, where most overheating occurs.
