Dakota Digital HDX direct-fit analog gauge systems feature the latest in aftermarket automotive instrumentation technology. They take personalization and usability to a whole new dimension, while retaining your favorite features from the wildly popular VHX-Series, such as LED backlighting for the numbers, tick marks, and dead-faced dash indicators (turn signals, high beam, check engine, cruise control engaged, and parking brake). Illuminated needles and a lifetime warranty are still part of the deal as well. These features add up to clean, easy-to-read instrument systems in all conditions. Precision stepper motors provide accurate needle movement, along with a full sweep at key-on, and the needle hubs are black nickel plated spun-aluminum. Classic Instruments 1966-67 Chevelle package gauge sets feature a speedometer and tachometer, along with fuel, oil, temperature, and volt gauges. The all-electric cluster arrives ready to install directly into the stock dash with ease. Additionally, the turn signals and high beam indicator are in the stock locations, and the panel also features a built-in shift light and warning light. Everything needed to install the direct-fit package is provided in each kit, including all necessary sending units. These gauge sets feature Classic's ZST and will work directly with ECM or VSS signals, requiring no additional control boxes. The cluster is designed to reuse the stock fuel sending unit or any aftermarket fuel sender (purchased separately) with the built-in ohm range selector switch. Classic Instruments' 1978-88 Chevy G-Body direct-fit packages are all-electric clusters featuring a speedometer, tachometer, clock, and fuel, oil, temp, and volt gauges in an OE style. These instruments are available either with or without gear position indicator, and with or without overdrive gear indicator for use with any transmission. Hybrid LED lighting offers the feel of the original perimeter lighting and the visual benefits of back-lighting: even illumination and clear nighttime readability. Turn signals and high beam indicators are in the original locations, and each kit includes new check engine and high beam sockets with LED bulbs. Additional indicator bulbs are available for purchase. These kits also include: a wiring harness, push-button speedometer calibration for ease of setup, a new acrylic lens, and built-in ECM signal filter switch. Save space with Classic Instruments' Zeus Speedometer Technology built-in, meaning the cluster requires no external control boxes and works directly with ECM or VSS signals. The fuel gauge is programmable for any ohm range with a selector switch on the back of the cluster, meaning the fuel gauge will work with the stock sending unit, any other factory sending units, or any Classic Instruments fuel sending unit.
