The lobe profile and grind characteristics of these Thumpr camshafts use a combination of an early exhaust valve opening, a long exhaust duration, and a generous amount of intake and exhaust overlap to maximize the rough-idling characteristics of the cams. This gives you a seriously aggressive exhaust note without negatively impacting the power output or streetability of the engine. ATI Super Damper Serpentine Series harmonic balancers are patented and feature grooves for serpentine belts machined into the outer damper shell. The dampers come with six outer grooves for standard OEM drive systems—but eight and 10 grooves are available for supercharger or turbo applications. Serpentine dampers are offered in a variety of diameters, and crank hubs may be fitted with a 6-groove serpentine pulley to drive external oil pumps or vehicle accessories. These Supercharged series dampers place the powerful protection of ATI Super Damper inside of the crankshaft blower pulley. Available in 66 to 77-tooth 8mm pitch, and 40 to 51-tooth 14mm pitch, these balancers eliminate torsional crankshaft vibrations and feature dual-keyway hubs. These balancers exceed SFI 18.1 specs, have laser-engraved 360 degree timing marks, and are finished in a black zinc chromate.
