The patent-pending adjustable master cylinder bracket allows you to mimic any original clutch rod angle, giving you a smooth, modern clutch feel without hacking up your firewall. The systems are designed to work with original and aftermarket pedals and are available for most vintage 4-speeds, along with TREMEC T5, TKO, Richmond, T56, and Magnum 6-speed transmissions. These systems come with the nickel plated firewall mount, volume-matched master cylinder, as well as a reservoir kit, lines, fittings, model-specific pedal mounting hardware, and model specific internal or external slave cylinder.

Cast flywheels are not explosion-proof and can be dangerous when used in high performance applications at higher rpm. RAM billet steel flywheels are recommended as replacements for factory-cast flywheels in high performance and racing vehicles. Made in America and produced in-house, all RAM flywheels are computer balanced within a 1/2 oz., surface ground (which results an optimum mating surface), and are ready to run out of the box. They're better for launching heavier drag race cars and provide better drivability in street vehicles. SFI-approved, RAM billet steel flywheels are CNC-machined from certified materials. Order the model recommended for your year/make and engine application. Technical note: As they spin, heavy flywheels store more energy than lighter ones. Engine and gearing combinations that require more power or inertia to make the car launch without bogging the motor need heavier flywheels. However, heavier flywheels accelerate slower. Lighter flywheels create less inertia at launch, but accelerate quicker through the gears. When choosing a flywheel, you must consider the car's weight, operating rpm of the engine, and, most importantly, the gearing. Insufficient gearing will cause an engine with too light of a flywheel to "bog" on launch.

Lakewood safety bellhousings are designed for maximum performance and durability. They are cut on CNC 5 axis laser cutters rather than plasma cutters to improve finish quality, reduce heat damage and warpage from the plasma cutter, improve speed of manufacture, and make them all exactly the same. All bellhousings feature a scalloped plate on the bottom of the transmission surface made from G70 grade steel (70,000) psi which will help eliminate stripping the transmission bolts. The engine plates are made of H60 grade material and the bells are roto-brated after welding to relive any stresses created from the hydro forming, annealing, or welding process prior to machining and painting. The roto-brating process also closes the metal on the outer surface making them stronger. Ever wonder how the SFI tests bellhousings like these Lakewood safety bellhousings? First, they bolt the bellhousing to a machine with a cast iron flywheel and saw inside it. Then they spin the flywheel, causing the saw to cut through it until it explodes. If the bellhousing can contain the explosion, the bellhousing is approved. These safety bellhousings are a safeguard to minimize the destructive effects of such an explosion. Don't take unnecessary chances with your safety and the safety of innocent bystanders--Lakewood not only provides top-notch products, they also provide peace of mind.

Hays heavy-duty flexplates for high performance and competition engines are constructed from a thicker-than-stock steel plate. This enables them to withstand the stress of high-stall torque converters and high-rpm engines. While factory stock plates tend to crack around the crankshaft hub when punished under high-torque and rpm conditions, the thicker Hays flexplates can handle the force. These heavy-duty flexplates are supplied with a ring gear that is securely welded in place. All Hays heavy-duty flexplates are zinc-dichromate plated to resist corrosion and SFI-certified under specification 29.1.

If you're building an all-out competition car, then you need a lightweight flywheel that will allow the engine to rev quicker and not eat up a lot of power. RAM billet aluminum flywheels greatly reduce rotating weight to permit quicker revving and higher power output, but still retain enough mass to resist heat distortion that could adversely affect clutch performance. RAM billet aluminum flywheels are made in America and produced in house. All RAM flywheels are computer-balanced within a 1/2 oz., surface ground (which results an optimum mating surface), and are ready to run out of the box. SFI-approved, these flywheels are CNC-machined from certified materials and have rugged steel friction-surface inserts. RAM's billet aluminum flywheels feature a 1/4 in. thick friction insert to dissipate heat away without distortion. Technical note: As it spins, a heavy flywheel stores more energy than a lighter one. Engine and gearing combinations that require more power or inertia to make the car launch without bogging the motor need heavier flywheels. However, heavier flywheels accelerate slower. Lighter flywheels create less inertia at launch, but accelerate quicker through the gears. To effectively use a lighter flywheel, you must consider the car's weight, operating rpm of the engine, and, most importantly, the gearing. Too little gear will cause the engine to 'bog' on launch.
