Lokar universal emergency brake cables feature quality, one-piece aluminum adjusters and an aluminum ferrule to eliminate fraying of the stainless steel housing. The outer housing is PTFE-lined for smooth operation, and the stainless inner cable resists moisture. Lokar offers U-Cut-To-Fit rear brake cables for a variety of applications, including many 1940s and '50s era Chevy and GMC trucks. The cables mount from backing plates on the rear-end to the original cross shaft chassis. They're designed with a specially extruded liner for extended life of the cable, and the stainless inner cable resists moisture. Each kit includes two 4 ft. outer braided stainless steel housings that "U-Cut-to-Fit." This design allows rear-end backing plate fittings to be removed without removing brake cables. Lokar cables also feature two adjustable cable locks and clevis.
