RAM Truck Pulling Custom Order Clutch Kits
RAM truck pulling clutch kits are custom-assembled for your specific application. These units feature a heavy-gauge steel cover with welded spring guides and a steel pressure ring. Flywheels are available in 30 or 40 lb. weights, as well as in billet aluminum. The clutches can be set up with either 5135 or 5191 compound iron discs with 1 to 10 splines. Single disc slipper-style clutches can be used with engines producing up to 800 hp, or where very limited slipping is desired. These clutches utilize the same quality components as the RAM dual disc pulling clutches. These units can be assembled with your choice of sintered iron disc materials and flywheel weights. Dual disc clutches will allow a more controlled slip as the vehicle comes out, without severe wear or every-round maintenance. Dual disc clutches are built to fit different stock depths or deep bellhousings.

Each rod is multi-stage heat-treated, X-rayed, sonic-tested, magnafluxed, 100 percent machined, and then shot-peened to stress-relieve the metal. The rods have precision cap alignment sleeves to positively locate each rod cap, silicon bronze bushings for floating pin models—and are available in stroker models that allow additional cam-to-rod clearance for large stroke combinations. With AFR's fully CNC-ported 357cc heads flowing 425 cfm, they represent the ultimate in airflow for your big block Chevrolet. These cylinder heads were targeted at larger cu. in. engines (509-632 c.i.d.) looking for maximum horsepower and rpm capabilities with a primary operating range of 3,500-8,000 rpm (this range is an average and will vary with engine displacement and component selection).
