The included up-pipe bellows are high-flow, internally sleeved, and manufactured from 11-gauge, 0.120 in. wall aircraft-grade stainless steel with a 2 in. O.D. The exhaust manifolds are machined from high-silicon moly cast iron; feature built-in bosses; and are pre-drilled and tapped for a 1/8 in. NPT EGT sensor. Their contoured design aims the exhaust directly at the exit port for greatly improved flow. They are cast from high silicon moly ductile iron to provide durability, leak free performance and less under the hood noise than conventional headers. The Hooker LS cast iron exhaust manifolds are recommended for strong performance on engines up to 500 horsepower and are available in plain as cast finish or with Hooker ceramic coatings for reduced engine temperatures and improved corrosion resistance.
