Replacing your stock exhaust manifold and up-pipes should be the first step in building a high performance exhaust system. Pacific Performance Engineering exhaust manifolds are co-designed by Honeywell (Garrett) and PPE, using CAD software to maximize flow characteristics. The included up-pipe bellows are high-flow, internally sleeved, and manufactured from 11-gauge, 0.120 in. wall aircraft-grade stainless steel with a 2 in. O.D. The exhaust manifolds are machined from high-silicon moly cast iron; feature built-in bosses; and are pre-drilled and tapped for a 1/8 in. NPT EGT sensor. Doug's Headers has long been recognized of as one of the premiere exhaust header manufacturers in the performance industry. Since1958, they have been producing high-quality, hand-built, mandrel-bent exhaust headers. Each and every header is tuned with the proper tube size and length to efficiently remove all of the exhaust from each cylinder, reducing pumping losses, and resulting in dramatic increases in horsepower and torque. Doug's headers are carefully developed on the vehicles that they are intended to fit and are re-checked numerous times during the design and manufacturing process. Their designs include mid-length headers, Tri-Y headers, and long tube headers, plus manifold replacement headers. Their headers come with all the necessary mounting hardware, collector reducers or connector pipes, premium extra-thick gaskets, and detailed installation instruction sheets.
