PRW Main Girdle Stud Kits

PRW main girdle stud kits help eliminate main cap walk and also protect the threads in your engine block. The main girdle studs work with the main girdles to help strengthen the foundation for your next high horsepower build. PRW uses premium grade Custom 4135 steel. The studs are then specially heat-treated to 180,000 psi. This heat-treating procedure allows for total heat penetration which results in a stronger, more superior stud compared to lesser quality studs from other manufacturers. To ensure perfect alignment with the main cap and main girdle, PRW studs are then centerless ground after being heat-treated. This attention to detail results in remarkably straight and concentric studs. These main cap fasteners come complete with hardened parallel-ground washers and quality 12-point nuts. PRW Power Plus Nitro-Carb steel stud mount rocker arms help flex associated with OEM or aftermarket stamped rocker arms at high rpm. Gas nitride is a process is used to increase surface hardness significantly.
