Oval Track and road racing are murder on engines, especially when it comes to temperature. A Victor series pump will help your engine stay cool. The aluminum pumps distribute water to both sides of the block equally within 1 percent. That helps prevent hot spots, which can cause detonation and pre-ignition. The Chevy pumps also have auxiliary water outlets for use with custom cooling systems. All pumps have heavy-duty ball/roller bearings, a machined cast iron impeller, gaskets, rear cover .100 in. thicker than stock for durability. The Victor series pumps have a black anodized finish.

An upgrade to the Victor series, these Edelbrock Victor Pro Series 2-piece water pumps are designed for high output racing engines, especially dirt late model and circle track applications. They feature a 2-piece cartridge style design for easy maintenance and improved performance. The 2-piece design features improved symmetrical flow paths resulting in increased flow and requiring less horsepower from the engine. A new aggressive impeller with improved inlet and outlet port designs provides maximum cooling with equal distribution making this water pump highly efficient. All of this helps eliminate hot spots in the engine, producing optimum power from every cylinder. Finally, it features a -2 bleeder screw for quick coolant system bleeding.
