TCI Super StreetFighter transmissions bridge the gap between the StreetFighters and full Competition series transmissions. Like the StreetFighter units, these are equipped with 100 percent tested, manual/automatic valve bodies. That means that most units allow you to manually shift the vehicle into each gear change or, by placing it in the drive position, remain fully automatic. These TCI PRO-X TH400 aluminum tailhousings feature light weight and improved strength, while using a tailshaft roller bearing rather than the factory bushing for superior lubrication and durability. The OEM bushing is a common failure point with TH400 transmissions, as it can run dry in high-speed TH400 applications.
