The calipers are manufactured from 6061-T6 billet aluminum and feature 25 percent more pad contact area than similar brake calipers. They're assembled with stainless steel pistons and bleeder screws—and use a dual pad pin design with O-rings to eliminate pad chatter. These kits include dust shields to keep the dirt, dust, and other particles out of the pistons. All calipers come with semi-metallic brake pads that are 20 percent thicker than standard style pads.
