Hooker LS engine swap transmission crossmembers are built to mount the transmission in place when switching to an LS engine. They are designed using CAD modeling/FEA analysis for optimal fitment, strength, weight, safety, and appearance. The crossmembers are manufactured from high-strength, low-alloy steel and then black powdercoated for maximum durability. They provide an engineered 3 to 3.5 degree engine/transmission inclination angle that is critical to obtaining suitable U-joint working angles. They are designed to be used in conjunction with Hooker LS engine swap brackets to provide a bolt-in installation of Hooker LS swap manifolds, headers, and exhaust systems for this application.

These lift bars are designed to work with axle torque to load the chassis of the car, forcing the rear wheels downward, while pushing the tires into the ground for harder launches and improved 60 ft. times. These bars are designed to greatly improve traction and reduce unwanted wheel hop. Constructed from boxed mild steel tubing, they feature a 0.120 in. wall and 0.188 in. thick mounting plates and are completely CNC-machined for exact tolerances and a superb fit. These lift bars feature greasable Energy Suspension bushings that reduce bushing deflection but still make these arms 100 percent streetable. Each lift bar features the correct provisions for adding a stock or aftermarket sway bar. Sway bar holes are placed in the correct pattern to maintain the sway bar level with the rear-end. All sway bar holes are reinforced with a 0.120 in. thick steel sleeve wall, TIG-welded, and then sanded into place. The rear mounting brackets feature two settings that allow the lift bar to be lowered 2 in. or 3 in., depending upon user preference and the vehicle's suspension setup. The included adjustable end links allow vehicle preload to be set for straight launches. UMI's end links feature heavy-duty chromoly rod ends, which have a hard chrome plating and a PTFE self-lubricating race. The end links attach to the drag bars using 5/8 in. Grade 8 bolts and locknuts. These heavy-duty rear drag bars attach to the axle tubes using high-strength 4140 chromoly U-bolts, 3/16 in. thick fabricated mounts, and Energy Suspension bushings. The fabricated bushing mounts feature CNC-machined teeth to prevent sliding on the axle.
