Say goodbye to leaving the line sideways with UMI's rear drag sway bars. These kits are designed to get your vehicle consistently leaving the line straight, eliminate torque steer, and drastically improve 60 ft. times. The included adjustable end links allow vehicle preload to be set for straight launches. UMI's end links feature heavy-duty chromoly rod ends, which have a hard chrome plating and a PTFE self-lubricating race. The end links attach to the drag bars using 5/8 in. Grade 8 bolts and locknuts. These heavy-duty rear drag bars attach to the axle tubes using high-strength 4140 chromoly U-bolts, 3/16 in. thick fabricated mounts, and Energy Suspension bushings. UMI Performance 1978-88 GM G-Body brake conversion kits include laser-cut UMI conversion brackets, lightweight aluminum hubs, and premium bearings—everything needed to adapt the C5/C6 abutment brackets, calipers, and rotors to the G-Body spindles. The hub features 5 x 4 1/2 and 5 x 4 3/4 bolt patterns and is intended to face mount the C5/C6 brake rotor in exact factory location (front track width is unaffected). Each kit includes premium bearing cups and cones, along with the correct rawhide seal for great performance and reliability. These conversion kits are the choice for UMI's Green Machine and have been thoroughly tested to withstand road race and Auto-X competition. They fit a wide range of Chevrolet, GMC, Buick, Oldsmobile, and Pontiac vehicles from the 1970s and '80s. Kit includes: UMI conversion brackets, driver and passenger side aluminum hubs, correct bearings and seals to mount the C5/C6 calipers and abutment brackets. Additional details: Wheel studs are not included. 1/2 in.-20 threaded studs will be required to complete installation. Determine stud length after choosing wheel and considering offset, whether or not spacers are required, and after determining wheel flange thickness. Kit requires C5 or C6 calipers, rotors, brake pads and brake lines. A detailed list of GM part numbers is included. Now fits Wilwood SLC56 caliper. Does NOT fit Blazer spindle.
