Bridgestone Battlecross X31 tires are for a broader range of intermediate terrain in big bike sizes. Starting where the X30 left off, the Bridgestone Battlecross X31 tires are enhanced with Bunker Groove Technology, which results in greater traction in both harder and softer terrains.

* Symmetric front tire design enhanced with Castle Block promotes braking stability while increasing biting edges and contact pressure on soft and slippery surfaces

--Increased casing flex in tread area improves lug contact for greater traction in harder terrain while helping to maintain sidewall stability
--Provides additional biting edges when lugs are fully embedded in soft terrain
* Implementation of the Castle Block Technology on the shoulder blocks of the front tire and all the blocks on the rear tire results in an extra edge effect—this provides higher cornering grip and traction on different types of terrain
* Asymmetric block pattern for the rear tire leads to improved traction performance and together with a lower block ratio an increased working range
* Cooling fins create airflow through the sidewall protrusions—because of this, the X31 benefits from an enhanced cooling effect of the tire surface, less tire degradation, and a consistent performance throughout the life of the tire
