Not all carbon fiber driveshafts are the same. QA1 has engineered their REV Series to be the ultimate in driveshaft technology. Unlike other carbon fiber models, QA1 REV performance driveshafts are designed and manufactured using the latest filament-winding equipment. They are specially wound with an exclusive 3M Matrix Resin that utilizes spherical nano scale silica, providing improved abrasion resistance and longevity, higher compressive strength, and minimal water absorption. They are fitted with precision CNC-machined forged yokes specially developed for QA1's 11-step bonding procedure and high-strength U-joints. QA1 REV driveshafts will deliver abundant performance with less weight, maximum strength, lower inertia, faster acceleration, increased longevity, and the ability to handle much more torque. They are designed, manufactured and balanced to the highest standards and are intended for use in maximum performance applications where increased safety and vehicle performance are primary considerations. As a result of converting from an isolated 2-piece driveshaft design, it may be possible for an increase in NVH (noise, vibration, harshness) to occur in certain operating conditions. Nothing is tougher on a torque converter than putting it behind a blown fuel engine. Made for supercharged engines, ATI Fuel & Blown torque converters are designed for the ultimate in high-horsepower holding for big cubic inch nitrous or supercharged engines. They feature a special 22-element sprag with double-cage construction to simultaneously control each sprag element. The sprag sits in concentric races that are heat-treated to 65 on the Rockwell C scale. A specification sheet must be filled out prior to ordering.
