The OE pressure regulator valve design prevents adequate cooler flow at low rpm and high-pressure conditions, which can create overheating. Additionally, in 1999 and later vehicles, the factory EPC pressure was set high at idle, resulting in engine surge conditions in GM 4L80-E and 4L85-E units. Sonnax lube-regulated pressure regulator valves provide a significant increase in cooler flow under low rpm and high-pressure conditions that benefits all vehicles—and eliminates the need for reprogramming 1999 and later vehicles with high EPC pressure at idle.

Trail-Gear Trail-Creeper dual transfer case adapters deliver quality at the right price. They have greatly increased the oiling flow in and around the adapter for cooler operation; plus, they have increased the strength of the casting with thicker walls and huge oversized gussets. Trail-Creeper adapters utilize a special retainer ring--not a light gauge snap ring--to securely stabilize the main bearing and prevent bearing play. These features, along with tighter tolerances on the coupler, ensure long life and prevent stripped gears.
