Bowler Performance Lock-Up Control Modules

Bowler Performance lock-up control modules come complete with everything needed to seamlessly control your torque converter lock-up. Converter lock-up will occur 8 to10 seconds after 4th gear engagement, allowing enough engine rpm gain before lock-up, giving your engine more performance and providing a better feel to lock-up. Bowler's lock-up modules only require one 2 amp fused 12 V wire to operate. No vacuum switch is necessary allowing these modules to function correctly with all types of engines, and there are no bulky boxes to hide or mount. The control modules have the GM 4-prong connector integrated onto the control board, and are epoxy coated to stay protected against the elements. Choose the kit designed for your transmission. Kits include: * Lock-up control module * Internal wiring harness with lock-up solenoid and mounting studs * Pressure switch * Pan gasket * New transmission filter * Case pass through connector * Brake light switch—standard that has a normally closed switch (for your lock-up module) and a normally open switch (for your brake lights). The brake switch does not have to be installed for the lock-up module to function, but will allow the driver to tap the brake to un-lock the converter at any time. If you are going up an incline and need a few more rpms to get up that hill, just tap the brake, and the lock-up will turn off and not re-engage for approximately 8 seconds. For those with a high-gear ratio and late down shifts who experience a chug of the motor due to the lock-up converter still being engaged; the switch will eliminate this concern.

RevMax Billet High Performance Towing/HD Valve Bodies

RevMax billet high performance towing/HD valve bodies for a variety of applications, including many Dodge and Ram trucks from the early 2000s and up. The V2.0 is 1 in. thick, but this new version has precision cutouts that allow the use of a stock filter and pan. Unlike other designs, full depth worm tracks in crucial circuits are included. Other competing designs have only a .190 in. deep worm track in several critical circuits. One restricted circuit is the combined vent track, responsible for all venting operations and in particular the problematic SSV valve. The next restricted circuit is the torque converter clutch signal circuit. Restrictions in this circuit create all kinds of torque converter related concerns, including dragging when coming to a stop, overheating, soft or harsh TCC apply or release, and back feed issues resulting in P1776 and P0871 trouble codes. Both the original and V2.0 have nearly full depth worm tracks in these areas which eliminate problem issues! The V2.0 plate will work with ANY aftermarket transmission pan, as well as with stock transmission pans. There is no need to alter any part of the pan or use special filters. ARB Air Locker Differentials

A 4x4 and traction go hand-in-hand; however, standard (open) differentials allow each wheel to turn independently to eliminate binding in turns. Off-road, this becomes a problem as engine power takes the path of least resistance—to the wheel with little or no traction. Limited slip differentials offer some improvement, but too often the slipping is not "limited" enough to maintain forward progress. Automatic locking differentials also have disadvantages; noisy when disengaging, they can also upset on-highway driving characteristics. Created to provide traction on demand, without sacrificing highway driving performance, ARB Air Locker differentials employ a 12 V ARB air compressor (sold separately) to pneumatically operate a solid and durable locking mechanism inside the differential. When activated, the Air Locker prevents the differential gears from rotating and the axle shafts from turning independently of each other. With both wheels tied directly to the rotation of the ring gear, the vehicle maintains maximum possible traction at all times. When unlocked, it operates just like a conventional open differential. ARB Air Lockers are available in over 100 configurations for a wide range of vehicles and can be installed in both front and rear axles. Installation should be performed by a qualified differential technician, although no special tools or skills are required, apart from those necessary for fitting a standard differential. ARB also offers three compressor models suitable for Air Locker operation, two of which can be used to inflate tires and operate other equipment.
