Action Clutch Stage 1 Clutch Kits
Action Clutch single disc clutch kits contain a range of street to high performance clutch systems built using American materials which are all locally sourced as it has been done for 60 years. Action Clutch staged kits come complete with the clutch disc, pressure plate, throwout/release bearing, pilot bearing/bushing (when applicable), and alignment tool. Action Clutch Stage 1 clutch kits for street and occasional track use offer a 70 percent increased holding capacity. They utilize reinforced steel-backed copper Kevlar® organic friction material and feature a single diaphragm heavy-duty pressure plate, while maintaining an OEM-like pedal feel and a smooth engagement. These kits are engineered for vehicles that range from stock to basic bolt-on cars, and like all Action Clutch sprung kits, the Stage 1s feature fully enclosed spring retainers to help protect your investment from any springs popping out which can cause catastrophic damage to your transmission or engine. After assembly, each kit goes through multiple quality checks to ensure quality. Select the kit designed for your vehicle. ATS Diesel Performance Transmission Dipstick Oil Fill Tubes
The factory dipstick / oil fill tube on the early Ford HD transmissions are a press-in type that depend on a PTFE coating to seal and keep the transmission fluid in. Often, the coating does not seal entirely and results in a fluid leak. ATS offers this 2-piece tube that utilizes oil-resistant O-ring seals to ensure a leak-free seal. The product also allows you to easily remove the lower part of the dipstick / oil fill tube from the transmission case while the transmission is installed. (Replacing the factory tube requires removing the transmission; the ATS repair tube does not. Thus, it's the difference between a 20 min. repair vs a 5-hour repair.)
