Engineered and manufactured for all makes and ratios, they deliver the ideal blend of coverage, performance, and value. SVL starts their ring and pinion sets with a computer-generated gear summary. From there, the gearing is forged from alloy steel for optimal hardness; then the gears are cut with the utmost accuracy to ensure the smoothest possible ride—and computer-controlled heat-treating results in extra wear resistance. In the final stage of the process, the ring gear is mated to the pinion through gear lapping, which provides ideal meshing of the gearing.
