Action Clutch single disc clutch kits contain a range of street to high performance clutch systems built using American materials which are all locally sourced as it has been done for 60 years. Action Clutch staged kits come complete with the clutch disc, pressure plate, throwout/release bearing, pilot bearing/bushing (when applicable), and alignment tool. Action Clutch Stage 2 clutch kits for street and occasional track use offer a 110 percent increased holding capacity. They utilize reinforced steel-backed full face Kevlar® friction material and feature a single diaphragm heavy-duty pressure plate, while maintaining an OEM-like pedal feel, super smooth engagement, and heat dissipation. These kits are engineered for vehicles that have basic bolt-on cars or NA vehicles with headwork, such as cams, very low boost or nitrous setup. These fibers have a low static to dynamic friction coefficient, making them an ideal choice for applications where smooth engagement is essential (e.g. daily driving, stop-and-go, off-road driving). Due to the properties of Kevlar®, the stage 2 kits have an exceptional lifespan with minimal increase in pedal feel and a more confidence inspiring engagement. JR Race Car clutch rollers are available to maintain the performance of your Shockwave clutch. They offer roller bearings, roller bushings, and Helix rollers. Choose the roller options to best service your Jr. Dragster. Clutch roller options: * Roller bearings aka Big Black rollers, outer rollers, or plastic rollers are the torque transferring components of your clutch system, also one of the only common components between the Standard and the Overdrive Shockwaves. Kits include roller assemblies with bearings, washers, and nylock jam nuts. * Roller bushings aka steel rollers or flyweight rollers take all the force from the flyweights. One of the most durable components in the system, these are the most neglected components in the clutch. Kits include rollers with bushings, dowel pins, and button head cap screws. * Helix roller aka driven rollers or cam followers guide the Helix on the fixed sheave smoothly with as little wear as possible and provide a huge step in consistency and life. Available individually, they are pressed into the reverse driven clutch and often require a small rubber mallet to remove them.
