RAM Pro Street dual disc clutch kits are precision-balanced for smooth operation—and come equipped with a billet cover for optimum release length, a comfortable pedal effort, and a high diaphragm finger position for excellent high-RPM shifting capability. The sprung hub top disc absorbs shock and reduces driveline noise. Pro Street kits are available with your choice of an organic friction disc or a metallic disc. Organic disc models are capable of handling 500 to 800 hp; the metallic disc models can handle between 600 and 1,200 hp. RAM Force 10.5 dual disc clutch kits have a strap-driven floater plate and are precision-balanced for quiet operation. The sprung hub top disc absorbs shock and reduces driveline noise. Force clutches are available with your choice of a 300 Series friction disc or a 900 Series disc. The 300 Series organic disc models are capable of handling 500 to 800 hp; while the 900 Series metallic models can handle between 600 and 1,200 hp. These kits use a marcel spring—a thin, wavy device that helps to eliminate the go-or-no-go tendency that similar dual disc clutches have. RAM Truck Pulling Custom Order Clutch Kits
RAM truck pulling clutch kits are custom-assembled for your specific application. These units feature a heavy-gauge steel cover with welded spring guides and a steel pressure ring. Flywheels are available in 30 or 40 lb. weights, as well as in billet aluminum. The clutches can be set up with either 5135 or 5191 compound iron discs with 1 to 10 splines. Single disc slipper-style clutches can be used with engines producing up to 800 hp, or where very limited slipping is desired. These clutches utilize the same quality components as the RAM dual disc pulling clutches. These units can be assembled with your choice of sintered iron disc materials and flywheel weights. Dual disc clutches will allow a more controlled slip as the vehicle comes out, without severe wear or every-round maintenance. Dual disc clutches are built to fit different stock depths or deep bellhousings.
