American Powertrain Tremec T-56 Magnum Manual Transmissions and Installation Kits
American Powertrain Tremec T-56 Magnum manual transmissions and installation kits are designed to withstand up to 700 lbs.-ft. of torque. Their gears feature substantially increased face widths and 2-piece laser-beam welded construction, allowing for greater control of the tooth angles, pitch, and alignment. The transmissions also include a bolstered one-piece countershaft to resist distortion, and a stronger input shaft. Magnum's new synchronizers are built with fine-tooth angles, redesigned shift forks—and an extensively modified transmission case to prevent leaks under high-stress conditions and increase overall power-handling capabilities. Nearly two dozen models are available; choose the kit recommended for your vehicle application. RAM Truck Pulling Custom Order Clutch Kits
RAM truck pulling clutch kits are custom-assembled for your specific application. These units feature a heavy-gauge steel cover with welded spring guides and a steel pressure ring. Flywheels are available in 30 or 40 lb. weights, as well as in billet aluminum. The clutches can be set up with either 5135 or 5191 compound iron discs with 1 to 10 splines. Single disc slipper-style clutches can be used with engines producing up to 800 hp, or where very limited slipping is desired. These clutches utilize the same quality components as the RAM dual disc pulling clutches. These units can be assembled with your choice of sintered iron disc materials and flywheel weights. Dual disc clutches will allow a more controlled slip as the vehicle comes out, without severe wear or every-round maintenance. Dual disc clutches are built to fit different stock depths or deep bellhousings.

American Powertrain ProFit Tremec TKX manual transmissions and installation kits put the power to the pavement with unmatched durability and versatility. Tremec has normally sourced their aftermarket transmissions from the OE side, such as the Magnum T-56 and the T-5, but this new design is made from the ground up as a strictly aftermarket transmission. Designed to fit classic muscle cars and customs, the TKX has a tighter, more streamlined case, and features 600 lbs.-ft. of torque capacity and are capable of engines speeds of 8,000 rpm with shifts at 7,500 rpm. The compact design provides clearance in most transmission tunnels without floor modifications, while case strength has increased from previous models with the new 3-piece aluminum housing and gaskets at all flanges simplifies installation and eliminates fluid leaks.
