Factory hydraulic systems do not allow for adjustment of the pedal position, often resulting in a high engagement point when using aftermarket clutches. RevMax billet high performance towing/HD valve bodies for a variety of applications, including many Dodge and Ram trucks from the early 2000s and up. The V2.0 is 1 in. thick, but this new version has precision cutouts that allow the use of a stock filter and pan. Unlike other designs, full depth worm tracks in crucial circuits are included. Other competing designs have only a .190 in. deep worm track in several critical circuits. One restricted circuit is the combined vent track, responsible for all venting operations and in particular the problematic SSV valve. The next restricted circuit is the torque converter clutch signal circuit. Continuous oscillation in relay valve and sequence valve bore causes wear that prevents proper hydraulic control. You can recover hydraulic control and renew 2nd and 4th gear operation by reconditioning the entire bore and installing a Sonnax oversized 4-3 sequence valve kit.
