Using the proper straight thread fitting can prevent the case cracks associated with trying to install tapered pipe thread fittings—and quite possibly save you hundreds of dollars in repairs. ATI cooler line fittings are machined from high-quality aluminum, then anodized for a long-lasting, corrosion-resistant finish. They include nylon sealing washers and are available in -6 AN and -8 AN sizes. Be sure to use with PTFE-lined braided hose.
