Introduced in the early 1980s, the Tremec T-5 has become a highly evolved, extremely compact, and versatile 5-speed manual transmission. In its rich history, the T-5 has been installed as original equipment in pickup trucks, SUVs, and performance automobiles. Today, the T-5 is available in its best form to date—sometimes referred to as "world class" or Z spec (from Ford's part number 7003Z). VEGE has honed its remanufactured torque converter operation to optimize a steady outflow of a variety of products by using and adopting standard operating procedures to supply automotive, high-performance, heavy-duty, and industrial converters.
