RAM Competition Pressure Plates

Competition Clutch steel flywheels are made of 4140 forged steel and are one-piece designs, which helps significantly in reducing the chances of ring gear separation and friction surface warpage. Forged steel flywheels work with all performance and stock clutch assemblies, and can be resurfaced. Competition Clutch lightweight steel flywheels are recommended for naturally aspirated and/or street driven applications. Competition Clutch Stock Clutch Kits
Competition Clutch offers stock clutch kits for a variety of applications, including select Mazda, Subaru, Toyota, Lexus, Pontiac, Mitsubishi, Infiniti, Nissan, Honda©, and Acura© models from 1985 and up. These OE-style clutch replacements are the economical solution for cars that are stock or have basic bolt-ons. They provide a stock torque capacity rating and maintain stock pedal feel. Break-In Procedure: After you install your new Competition Clutch, you'll want to make sure that the clutch is properly broken in for ultimate operation. To break in your clutch, shift as often as possible during the first 500 miles, by doing so you'll ensure that the material from the disc is embedded into the friction surfaces of the pressure plate and flywheel. Following the break-in procedure will deliver the longest possible clutch lifespan.

Hays Heavy-Duty Flexplates

This enables them to withstand the stress of high-stall torque converters and high-rpm engines. While factory stock plates tend to crack around the crankshaft hub when punished under high-torque and rpm conditions, the thicker Hays flexplates can handle the force. These heavy-duty flexplates are supplied with a ring gear that is securely welded in place. All Hays heavy-duty flexplates are zinc-dichromate plated to resist corrosion and SFI-certified under specification 29.1.
