For years, the pages had continued to turn attempting to make the best transfer case cradle for the Suzuki Samurai. Low Range Off-Road set out to put an end to that story and succeeded. Addressing the weak factory brackets, their mounting points and vulnerability in high-torque situations, Low Range Off-Road End of Story (EOS) transfer case cradles mount with 17 points of contact to the transfer case and has a full circle backbone that distributes torque around the whole case. With this added strength comes a dramatically reduced risk of T-case breakage and extended gear life. Low Range also added a 4th frame mount location on the cradle arm, reducing the chances of the frame breaking at the mount points--a common occurrence with the Samurai. These Rugged Ridge transfer case Mega slip yoke eliminator kits are designed to be used in the same lift applications as the other standard SYE kits. The main advantage to these kits is that they allow for a much longer driveshaft to be used--an additional 3 in. This reduces driveshaft angle, improves bearing and U-joint life, and reduces driveline vibrations. They also have a shorter and stronger main shaft design with improved oiling. They will not work with cable-driven speedometers and are not for use on Rubicon models.
