These mounts allow you to raise your automatic transmission shifter up off the floor to give you a closer reach, which allows better control and convenience. There are two styles available: a .090 in. aluminum platform or a tubular mild steel pedestal. The aluminum versions are formed from .090 in. unfinished material and are available in 3.5 in. or 5 in. stationary heights. The steel pedestal versions are adjustable and removable with a quick-release pin and will go as high as 8 in. Both styles will require some holes to be drilled and possibly other fabrication. Mounting hardware is not included.

These economical units feature an unparalleled level of adjustability so drivers can tweak every aspect of the shifter to suit their own preference. The shifters' frame is constructed from TIG-welded, powdercoated, 1000 Series steel. The anodized upper and lower rocker assemblies are now made of single pieces of aerospace-grade aluminum, with custom sealed ball bearings to reduce friction. The new V2 shifter, for instance, is 60 percent smoother than the original version, requiring much less physical effort to row through gears all while being significantly lighter. Shift throw adjustment is achieved using two threaded cable attachment pins, meaning fine tweaks can be made to shift throw, allowing you to dial in the exact throw that suits your shifting style. Each attachment pin features a wear-resistant Delrin© pivot cap for sturdy, quiet operation. New dual, zinc-plated extension springs replace the OEM-style torsion centering spring for better-centering action and a more direct feel. The performance of a shifter can mean the difference between winning a race and missing a shift—and a high-quality shifter can make your car shift like a new, high performance machine. The new V3 RSX short shifter not only sits on a stronger and lighter steel frame, but the internal spring also keeps the motion totally fluid through all gears. The 4-link design offers adjustable short and crisp shifts while keeping parts to the minimum. When it comes to adjustability, the RSX shifter truly shines. Adjustments are a breeze and can give you many different options in terms of shift feel. With just the turn of a single 5mm Allen wrench, you can adjust your shift knob to be 2 in. taller or 1 in. lower than stock. With the same Allen wrench, you can adjust the knob position, bringing it closer to or further from the steering wheel—meaning you can shift quickly and keep your hands on the wheel. Want your shifts a little shorter? These shifters can reduce throw anywhere from 10 to 50 percent (below stock throw). Gate spacing (left-right shifter motion) is also adjustable. This means that if you like short throws and wide gates, long throws, and narrow gates, or any other combination, you can custom tailor it to your preference. Hybrid Racing Performance shifter cable bushings are a simple, cost-effective way to add that crisp feel that you associate with a solid feeling shifter. Don't be fooled into thinking that all shifter cable bushings are created equal. Many companies make the mistake of assuming both bushings used in stock shifter cables can be replaced with solid metal or Delrin© bushings. However, this is not the case. Honda© uses rubber bushings in their cables because it's a cost-effective way to allow 2-degrees of freedom. A solid metal or Delrin© bushing allows only 1-degree of freedom. Generally speaking, eliminating a degree of freedom in the bushings translates into more effort required to shift and the potential to bend and ruin your shifter cables. That's why Hybrid Racing shifter cable bushings incorporate a chrome-plated steel spherical bearing into its shifter bushings. This bearing gives a crisp, notchy feel you expect from shifter bushings without the extra effort required to shift, like other brands of bushings. All shifter bushings are supplied with spiral retaining rings to hold them into the cables, along with stainless steel cotter pins to hold the cables to the transmission.
