OE axles usually do a good job of getting stock vehicles down the road, but larger tires, a heavy foot, and some wicked terrain are a recipe for disaster. RT Off-Road Performance Axle kits improve torsional and tensile strength 30 percent by using heat-treated 4340 alloy steel. All RT Off-Road Performance Axle kits are sold in pairs and feature rolled splines for greater overall strength; they come with hardware, bearings, and seals. Kits that replace original equipment tapered axles with flanged one-piece axles are also available.
