To help with durability and performance, the transmissions come with a billet pump rotor, billet 4-5-6 clutch hub, hardened and reinforced clutch hubs, and a hardened rear planetary gear assembly. Every transmission is assembled by one of GearStar's five expert builders. The transmission packages arrive dyno tested with 100 miles already on the transmission, which means the break-in procedure has been done and they're ready to go!

GearStar offers GM 6L90E Level 4 transmission models for rear-wheel-drive or four-wheel-drive applications. They feature different advertised horsepower ratings and flash stall ratings. Each master overhaul kit comes complete with new gaskets, seals, rings, and pistons. The transmissions are compatible with engines such as Chevy small block Gen III/IV (LS-based) models from 1997 and up.
