RAM hydraulic throwout bearing travel adjustment systems are designed for late model vehicles equipped with internal slave cylinder and bearings. Factory hydraulic systems do not allow for adjustment of the pedal position, often resulting in a high engagement point when using aftermarket clutches. The Ram system allows you to adjust your pedal position lower to the floor for better driver comfort, while allowing you to minimize the release of your clutch system for racing applications. Some vehicles experience shifting problems at higher RPM due to over centering, or over travel of the clutch fingers. Sonnax TCC regulator and isolator valve kits assist in recovering hydraulic control and renew TCC performance. Severe wear of the TCC (torque convertor clutch) regulator valve bore, caused by oscillation of the OE valve, allows the regulated converter to apply pressure to your exhaust. This is a primary cause for TCC-related slip code and overheated converters. Exhaust pressure also diminishes line pressure, which can result in burnt clutches. Excess wear at the isolator valve bore reduces TCC apply pressure.
