Once you have lifted your Jeep and installed bigger tires on it, the stress on the slip yoke or rear output shaft is often too much. Rough Country slip yoke eliminator kits contain everything to modify your transfer case. They will convert it from a slip yoke to a fixed yoke for improved off-road durability and performance. These kits do require Rough Country's extended travel drive shaft, which helps to prevent driveline vibration and the rear output shaft from breaking. These replacements feature an aluminum carrier that's 70 percent lighter than steel, along with a durable, long-lasting carbon steel tooth ring. Forging rivets into the sprocket provides exceptional strength. A hub adapter ring provides installation on 1984-99 and 2000-22 type hubs, while maintaining surface engagement between sprocket and wheel. The sprockets have an anodized black carrier with black zinc passivation and clearcoat finish. They're available in different tooth counts.
