Don’t let a worn-out and stretched drive chain become the weak link in your powersports drivetrain! Like tires, brake pads, and sparkplugs, drive chains should be periodically inspected, maintained, and replaced when necessary. If you live in an area where corrosion is a problem, you may want to step up to a painted or plated chain that offers improved corrosion resistance.
Remember, when it’s time to replace your drive chain, it’s also a good idea to replace your sprockets as well.
