Each bushing is oil-impregnated for long life (applicable models). Heavy-duty pilot bushings and bearings are recommended for performance applications. Pioneer performance pilot bushings are manufactured from 100 percent bronze material to reduce problems caused by heat build-up. Pioneer roller pilot bearings are direct replacements for OEM bronze bushings and use needle bearing sleeves to reduce friction and heat, providing quicker and smoother shifts.
