RAM Truck Pulling Custom Order Clutch Kits
RAM truck pulling clutch kits are custom-assembled for your specific application. These units feature a heavy-gauge steel cover with welded spring guides and a steel pressure ring. Flywheels are available in 30 or 40 lb. weights, as well as in billet aluminum. The clutches can be set up with either 5135 or 5191 compound iron discs with 1 to 10 splines. Single disc slipper-style clutches can be used with engines producing up to 800 hp, or where very limited slipping is desired. These clutches utilize the same quality components as the RAM dual disc pulling clutches. These units can be assembled with your choice of sintered iron disc materials and flywheel weights. Dual disc clutches will allow a more controlled slip as the vehicle comes out, without severe wear or every-round maintenance. GearStar GM 6L90E Level 3 transmissions come with a custom billet Yank Performance torque converter. This is the first of many upgrades that go into making sure that each transmission is not only built for performance and durability but longevity as well. These units come programmed with a VIN number that will work with most aftermarket transmission controllers. If this is going into a stock application, GearStar has the ability to program the transmission with your VIN number to ensure it's a direct replacement. The next upgrades for this transmission are expanded capacity performance clutch packs. Level 3 transmissions come with all new electrics, including the wiring harness, internal computer, all sensors and solenoids—along with all new bushings, bearings, and seals.
