TCI Trans-Scat valve body kits offer you two options: you can either have good, solid shifting that's well suited to towing, or you can have competition-style shifting. These kits eliminate slippage and lag, improve fuel economy, extend clutch life, and really improve the 2nd and 3rd gear shifts. In addition to delivering crisper shifting, they allow you to downshift on demand, and most will allow you to hold first gear for extended periods, such as when climbing long hills while towing. All kits give you the full range of normal automatic functions when in "drive."

TCI valve body performance improver kits are designed to change the shift action to a more positive shift. Reduced shift time can add life to the clutches and bands and remove the lag time between shifts. These kits are easy to install and come with the necessary parts and gaskets to install the valve body.

TCI Pro Super transmission overhaul kits contain the same parts and pieces used in building TCI Streetfighters. You will receive components normally replaced on a transmission rebuild, along with new performance frictions and steels, plus a Trans-Scat valve body kit, which enables you to change the valve body to a manual/automatic setup that delivers both a good solid shift suitable for towing applications and a competition-quality shift for drag racing.
