TCI Competition Transmissions
TCI Competition transmissions are designed to take the abuse of drag-racing competition. They're available with full-manual and trans-brake setups and retain no automatic shift features. They feature special heat-treated races and sprags, high-performance clutches and bands, and improved lubrication. TCI blueprints and modifies these transmissions for maximum performance, then dyno tests and pressure tests them. So you can concentrate on winning the race!

TCI 4x4 Full Manual Competition Transmissions
Whether you drive a sand dragger, hill climber, or tractor puller, TCI has the transmission for you. The competition line of full manual 4x4 transmissions is built following the same specifications TCI uses in building thousands of drag race units. TCI Competition Torque Converters
TCI Competition torque converters are proven race winners and an excellent choice for stock and Super Stock cars. They work well with both big and small blocks, producing power between 4,500 and 7,000 rpm. You'll maintain engine rpm between shifts with their efficient design, and gain improved reliability with an oversize caged bearing supporting a new stator. ETs are more consistent and reaction times faster as a result of a stronger housing, which resists flexing and ballooning.

TCI Super StreetFighter Torque Converters
These TCI Super StreetFighter converters are completely remanufactured with furnace-brazed fins, needle bearings, and a flame-hardened hub. Super StreetFighters provide the ultimate street performance with a stall speed of up to 4,000 rpm and competition-style launches. TCI Super StreetFighter Transmissions
TCI Super StreetFighter transmissions bridge the gap between the StreetFighters and full Competition series transmissions. Like the StreetFighter units, these are equipped with 100 percent tested, manual/automatic valve bodies. That means that most units allow you to manually shift the vehicle into each gear change or, by placing it in the drive position, remain fully automatic. In either mode, you get a racetrack shift that bangs through the gears and shaves time off your ETs. When you use the manual gear selection feature, the Super StreetFighters upshift and downshift right when you move the lever, with no lag or governor override. When you select the normal drive position, the transmissions retain positive automatic shifts, for the ease of driving you look for in an automatic transmission.

TCI Trans-Scat Valve Body Kits
TCI Trans-Scat valve body kits offer you two options: you can either have good, solid shifting that's well suited to towing, or you can have competition-style shifting. These kits eliminate slippage and lag, improve fuel economy, extend clutch life, and really improve the 2nd and 3rd gear shifts. In addition to delivering crisper shifting, they allow you to downshift on demand, and most will allow you to hold first gear for extended periods, such as when climbing long hills while towing.
