RAM truck pulling clutch kits are custom-assembled for your specific application. These units feature a heavy-gauge steel cover with welded spring guides and a steel pressure ring. Flywheels are available in 30 or 40 lb. weights, as well as in billet aluminum. The clutches can be set up with either 5135 or 5191 compound iron discs with 1 to 10 splines. Single disc slipper-style clutches can be used with engines producing up to 800 hp, or where very limited slipping is desired. These clutches utilize the same quality components as the RAM dual disc pulling clutches. These units can be assembled with your choice of sintered iron disc materials and flywheel weights. Dual disc clutches will allow a more controlled slip as the vehicle comes out, without severe wear or every-round maintenance. Dual disc clutches are built to fit different stock depths or deep bellhousings.

A 3,000 lb. pressure spring provides increased static pressure over stock clutches. Used in conjunction with a RAM 6-paddle solid hub disc, this combination weighs in at just over 15 lbs. If your rules require a full facing or sprung hub disc, the RAM 300 Series organic racing disc provides the best holding power of any organic disc available and adds only about 2 lbs. to the total weight of the set. RAM offers a lightweight 17 lb. billet steel flywheel for Chevrolet that matches the above components.
