RAM Concept 9.5 dual disc clutch/billet flywheel kits are the perfect entry level dual disc clutch systems. Each kit features an increased clamp load pressure plate, 9.5 in. premium-faced organic or metallic clutch discs, and a RAM surface-ground and balanced billet steel flywheel. The pressure plate provides a silky-smooth clutch pedal feel, while the dual disc provides additional holding capacity when compared to single disc systems. RAM Concept 9.5 units also utilize a sprung hub top disc that helps dampen and quiet the initial clutch engagement, plus a strap driven floater plate eliminates any floater plate rattle concerns. They make excellent choices for LS/LT and Coyote engine swaps, as well as Tremec transmission swaps. RAM hydraulic throwout bearing travel adjustment systems are designed for late model vehicles equipped with internal slave cylinder and bearings. Factory hydraulic systems do not allow for adjustment of the pedal position, often resulting in a high engagement point when using aftermarket clutches. The Ram system allows you to adjust your pedal position lower to the floor for better driver comfort, while allowing you to minimize the release of your clutch system for racing applications. Some vehicles experience shifting problems at higher RPM due to over centering, or over travel of the clutch fingers. By limiting this travel and setting the clutch pedal for minimum release this over travel situation can be eliminated, restoring clean shifts at high RPM.

RAM premium replacement clutch kits are the first choice of professional installers, because each set contains the correct replacement parts to ensure proper fit and operation in your vehicle. Kits include an OEM diaphragm or lever style pressure plate, clutch disc, and a clutch-alignment tool. Some clutch sets will include a throwout bearing. The clutch disc features either a 5- or 6-spring standard hub or helix hub, just like the originals. These clutch sets are great for unmodified street vehicles and restorations. The flywheel must be resurfaced or replaced prior to installation to validate the warranty. Force clutches are available with your choice of a 300 Series friction disc or a 900 Series disc. The 300 Series organic disc models are capable of handling 500 to 800 hp; while the 900 Series metallic models can handle between 600 and 1,200 hp. These kits use a marcel spring—a thin, wavy device that helps to eliminate the go-or-no-go tendency that similar dual disc clutches have.
