GearStar offers GM 6L80E Level 3 transmission models for rear-wheel-drive or four-wheel-drive applications. They feature different advertised horsepower ratings and flash stall ratings. Each master overhaul kit comes complete with new gaskets, seals, rings, and pistons. The transmissions are compatible with engines such as Chevy small block Gen III/IV (LS-based) models from 1997 and up. Transmission details: * New wide inlet filter * New bearing kit * New bushing kit * Expanded capacity 3-5 reverse clutch pack using latest generation friction and steels * Expanded capacity 1-2-3-4 clutch pack using latest generation friction and steels * Expanded capacity 4-5-6 clutch pack using latest generation friction and steels * Low / Reverse clutch pack using latest generation friction and steels * 2-6 clutch pack using latest generation friction and steels * Updated AC Delco pump cover (stator support) * New pump vanes with hardened rings * Hardened pump rotor * Upgraded line boost valve and slide spring * Performance tuned valve body with new AC Delco transmission control module and solenoid body * Hardened and reinforced clutch hubs * Billet single disc converter * All transmissions are custom built by one of five master techs from start to finish—and DYNO tested with converter the equivalent of 100 miles to ensure that transmission and converter package are in perfect operating condition before they leave the GearStar facility.

GearStar GM high performance transmissions are built to the horsepower, torque, and rear gear ratio specs of the engine that it will be matched to. Before a transmission and torque converter leaves their facility, they are dyno tested for the equivalent of 100 miles, ensuring proper working condition.
