These steel assemblies are available with S-hooks, clevis hooks, and latching S-hooks in different lengths and chain grades to fit your trailer weight. Chains have steel-welded links for maximum strength and breakage protection and both chain and hooks on these assemblies have a durable zinc finish. Designed specifically for off-road use, Timbren HD axle-less trailer suspensions are built with heavy-gauge steel components to support the increased demands of a trailer used on off-road trails and overland excursions. They are uniquely designed with longer trailing arms and softer rubber springs, providing you with the best ride quality to protect your cargo on or off the trail. Timbren HD axle-less trailer suspensions include heavy-duty outboard arms equipped with a 4 in. lift and long spindles for use with wider, off-road tires larger than 235/85R16. A brake flange is also included if you plan to install brakes, along with Grade 8 zinc coated hardware and camber shims. Timbren offers the suspensions for right side, left side, or as a pair. Timbren axle-less trailer suspensions provide a smooth, quiet, safe ride--and, yes, eliminate the need for an axle. They're designed to replace your existing axle and operate independently. The suspensions fit any frame width and, depending on the model you select, will support anywhere from a 400 to 7,000 lb. weight capacity. The included AEON progressive rate main springs absorb road shock and support the trailer's load, while delivering a smooth, stable ride, regardless of load size. Timbren axle-less trailer suspensions compress and become stiffer as load increases, boosting spring strength; and the rebound springs act as return devices to minimize rattle and bottoming out. They also create constant pressure on the arm, so the suspensions are never completely relaxed. The unique configuration reduces roll during cornering and features built-in camber and toe-in to help your trailer to track straight, reducing wear on the tires. Timbren axle-less trailer suspensions are available with either straight or 4 in. drop spindles--and include hubs (depending on the kit), bearings, seals, races, steel powdercoated mounting brackets, and mounting hardware for a complete installation.
