ARB Winch Recovery Dampers

ARB winch recovery dampers are for use on steel cable winch lines—to help prevent potentially harmful damage during vehicle recovery. In case of cable or rope failure, this damper is designed to absorb most of the energy in the cable, reducing recoil and possible damages from a cable backfiring into your Jeep. The dampers are manufactured from heavy-duty vinyl and feature reflective tapes for visibility at night. They also come with storage pockets to keep snatch blocks and shackles for extra organization while being stowed.

Important note: While steel winch cables are exceptionally strong, safety precautions must be observed to avoid serious injury in the event of cable failure. Such breakage can result in a violent whiplash effect, which may cause serious injury to people, as well as harm equipment. Use caution with this ARB product.
