CURT A25 fifth wheel trailer hitches offer smoother, quieter towing for your "home away from home," combining the patented technology of CURT's A-series, an easier mounting system, and the power of a 25K fifth wheel hitch. Like CURT's A16 and A20 hitches, the A25 uses a patented cast yoke to allow for unimpeded head movement, while providing exceptional stability for the trailer. The yoke has a set of poly-torsion inserts to suppress shock loads and reduce excessive noise; and the head features high-strength, interlocking jaws to give the trailer stability and the freedom to pivot and swivel as needed. Each A25 comes with a set of CURT OEM puck system fifth wheel legs designed to mount directly into the 4-point mounting system, allowing for quick and easy installation. The most unique feature of these legs is their quarter-turn anchoring system. Variable-position anchors allow the hitch head to easily drop into the puck system--and with a quarter-turn, the hitch can be installed or removed as needed. The anchors can also be adjusted to eliminate any chucking noises. Order the model with options you prefer. Timbren axle-less trailer suspensions provide a smooth, quiet, safe ride--and, yes, eliminate the need for an axle. They're designed to replace your existing axle and operate independently. The suspensions fit any frame width and, depending on the model you select, will support anywhere from a 400 to 7,000 lb. weight capacity. The included AEON progressive rate main springs absorb road shock and support the trailer's load, while delivering a smooth, stable ride, regardless of load size. Timbren axle-less trailer suspensions compress and become stiffer as load increases, boosting spring strength; and the rebound springs act as return devices to minimize rattle and bottoming out. They also create constant pressure on the arm, so the suspensions are never completely relaxed. The unique configuration reduces roll during cornering and features built-in camber and toe-in to help your trailer to track straight, reducing wear on the tires.
