Factor 55 FlatLink E Winch Shackles

Upgrade the standard winch hook with a replacement that enhances reliability and performance, and provides closed system winching--the extra security and confidence needed to tackle the most demanding winch recoveries. Factor 55 FlatLink E (Expert) winch shackles replace conventional winch hooks with stronger shackle/D-ring mounts, and fold neatly into the fairlead when not in use, allowing a better approach angle than the ProLink versions. FlatLinks do not require splicing, are compatible with steel or synthetic ropes. Factor 55 FlatLink E winch shackles are precision machined from 6000 Series billet aluminum and given a hard anodized gray finish (Mil-A-8625 F Type III). They attach with a super-strong aerospace-grade double-shear titanium pin and snap ring, which is easily installed in minutes, and are equipped with EPDM rubber guards secured with four barbed tips. Their large pear-shaped shackle mounting hole allows for connection to either the pin or bow end of common screw pin shackles, as well as common OEM recovery points, making them very versatile. Available in several colors, select the one you like best. Features: * FlatLink can be used with steel or synthetic winch lines up to 3/8 in. diameter * The rope eye is retained with a 5/8 in. diameter 6AI-4V grade V titanium pin * Works with common 3/4 in. shackles (pin and bow end) and soft shackles up to 3/4 in. * Less than 1.75 in. thick when folded flat * Maximum load: 16,000 lbs. * Ultimate failure: greater than 40,000 lbs. * Compatible with all roller fairlead license plate mounting brackets * EPDM rubber guard protects alloy fairleads and cushions line stowage, and eliminates hook rattle and fairlead damage * Simple snap ring removal for shear pin * Weight: 26 oz. Note: The FlatLink E (Expert) pear-shaped hole adds the possibility of a dangerous shackle side loading condition, especially during momentary slack conditions.

Factor 55 Load Distribution Plates

Factor 55 load distribution plates offer a safe collection point for many winching applications, preventing the gathering of multiple loads on a single shackle. Precision machined from 6000 Series military-grade aluminum, these rigging plates are given a military specification hard anodized finish (Mil-A-8625 F Type III Gray) and are laser engraved with an angle scale for sling multiplier estimates. Features: * Rigging plate designed for the distribution of multiple loads and directions * Self-aligning shackle pin holes fit common 3/4 in. shackles * Pear-shaped holes permit 3/4 in. and 7/8 in. shackle bodies to pass through * Symmetric shape allows for common bridle tow configurations * Large smooth corner radii for soft shackle applications * Working load limit of 20,000 lbs. * Minimum breaking strength of 42,000 lbs. * Weight: 26 oz.

Factor 55 Hawse Fairleads

Factor 55 hawse fairleads are the best in the business. They're CNC-machined from thick USA 6000-Series aluminum bar and thicker than the industry-standard 0.75 in. size to extend rope life. Additionally, the slot opening is taller to allow larger 1/2 in. tube thimbles to pass through. All Factor 55 fairleads are coated with a durable MIL-A-8625F TYPE III gunmetal gray hard-anodized finish with a laser-engraved logo. That finish is not a cosmetic choice; the hard coating resists abrasion, damage from extreme side pulls, and is one of the top-five hardest materials known to exist. Plus, the low friction coefficient means less wear and tear on your rope. * For synthetic rope only * Fairleads are available in 1 in. thick, 1.5 in. thick, and offset 1.5 in. thick models * Mounting hardware not included
