Simply loosen the set screw, tighten the rocker, tighten the set screw, and remove the rocker. The pushrod is then at zero lash. Measure with a dial caliper and add the amount of required lifter plunger preload to get the perfect pushrod length. You'll attain accurate, consistent measurements--and no more counting rocker bolt turns!
