Eddie Marine standard engine flushing kits are for the budget-minded. The function is the same as the Deluxe kit, but these standard kits utilize a simple chrome brass deck mount for the hose connection. They will shut off the water flow to your water pickup or sterndrive, when installed in your main water line, allowing the engines to be flushed with fresh water from the externally mounted hose connection. With the valve opened, your sterndrive can also be "back flushed". Eddie Marine standard engine flushing kits include brass or stainless steel ball valves, stainless steel fittings, clamps, and 8 ft. of 3/4 in. water hose.

Sierra Marine bellow expander tools aid in the installation of exhaust bellows on MC-I, R-MR, Alpha One, Bravo One and Two, and Blackhawk drive units. The bellows are rubber "boots" that seal out water around the exhaust, U-joints, and shift cable, while allowing the drive to pivot and tilt. Over time bellows wear out and will require replacement. Before anything, you must remove the Sterndrive in order to use this bellow tool. After the Sterndrive has been removed, simply install a bellow on the gimbal housing, and then stretch the bellow though the exhaust hole in the bellhousing, tighten the hose clamp—and voilà—done!
