The correct amount of stagger depends on the corners and banking of the racetrack. Too much stagger and you have a loose condition, too little and your car will be heading for the outside wall. A solution to having the correct amount of stagger is Racing Automotive Group tire stagger sticks. They have an easy-to-read sliding scale that measures a tire circumference range from 60 in. to 114 in. with 1/4 in. increments, and the sticks measure tire stagger with the tires on the ground.
