Altronics PerformAIRE Eclipse weather stations can measure the density of air in the atmosphere. These PerformAIRE computers contain a database that stores runs and then uses this data to automatically predict ETs and throttle stop settings. The predicted values are continually updated with each new sample of air, and the density altitude will be stored with each run. The stored runs are also tagged with a time and date stamp to allow for later referencing. The expandable database is capable of storing hundreds of runs in separate databases, which can be labeled for specific cars or tracks.

Weather Station feature descriptions: * The RaceAir Cloud incorporates the ability to add Wind Speed and Wind Direction * You can now get updated ET and Throttle Stop predictions, as well as all of your weather variables direct to your phone. The text message feature will require an internet connection at the trailer. However, by using phone and tablet hot spots this has become easier than ever. * If purchased with the optional paging feature, you will receive your own closed circuit paging network that does NOT require any internet or cell phone service. This is the most reliable way to ensure you can get your up-to-date weather to the staging lanes regardless of cell service. When used in the RaceBase Logbook program or the Crew Chief Pager-enabled software, you can also get up-to-date ET Predictions. * The new sunlight intensity meter will give you a definitive value for how intense the sunlight was during the pass. With the new Sunlight value, you can measure the sun's intensity in terms of Lux x 1,000. This allows you to see exactly when clouds came in and what effect they had on other weather variables and your performance. * Computech supplies you with outdoor pole mounting brackets designed to fit in existing trailer flashing screw holes, and an indoor trailer storage bracket to keep your Cloud safe during transport. (Optional models include either a 4 to 8 ft. or 6 to 12 ft. expandable cam lock pole, as well as trailer storage brackets for the pole to ensure they are secured during transport.) * Setting up and flying your RaceAir Cloud is as simple as plugging the Cloud in, placing it on the pole, placing the pole in the supplied brackets and firing up the software. * RaceBase Weather software will automatically search for you and connect without you having to do anything. Simply open the software, plug in the weather station and turn it on. * When used hand in hand with a logbook program, your RaceAir Cloud gains the ability to text or page you up-to-date weather and ET or Throttle Stop predictions. With the included RaceBase Logbook program you can connect to the RaceBase Weather software, keep track of multiple cars, and input all the important run and setup information for each pass. Includes a single run prediction, database prediction, throttle stop prediction, Holley and fuel injection tuning, run completer, drag racing-specific formulas, and much more. * Optional Trailer Install Kit includes three separate cables: a short 2 ft. Interface Box cable, a 30 ft. or 40 ft. Trailer Wall cable, and an 8 ft. or 12 ft. Cloud cable. The trailer wall cable will come with one flange mount Deutsch pre-installed and the other end bare so you can run it through any trailer wall or flashing. Kits also come with open barrel terminals, shrink tube, and the final flange mount to finish the clean installation.
