AutoMeter heavy-duty automated electrical system analyzers work on most 6 V and 12 V batteries, including AGM, battery banks (up to 4 batteries), and 24 V systems. Due to their 400 amp true load system, they can apply a load through the tester for quick readings on the alternator, battery, starter, connections, and wiring. The testers feature Digital Pulse Load technology, allowing operators to quickly evaluate cranking power—as well as V-drop technology, which measures voltage drop associated with starter engagement. This product also connects to AutoMeter's truck/trailer adapters (available separately) to quickly assess all electrical issues. They run on their own 6 V SLA battery which recharges internally whenever the cables are hooked to a battery.

AEM Electronics EV Combined Charging Units

AEM Electronics EV combined charging units (CCU) simplify the electric vehicle (EV) drive system. The units merge an on-board charger (OBC) and a DC-DC converter (DCDC). The OBC charges the HV battery pack by taking 120 V or 240 V AC energy from the grid, converting it to high-voltage DC and charging the high-voltage battery in the vehicle. The DC-DC converter takes the high-voltage from the battery pack and converts it to low-voltage to maintain the charge in the vehicle's 12 V battery, and performs the duties that the alternator does in an internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicle. The combined charging units are fully controlled by the VCU via the CANbus and the OBC and DC-DC report voltage, current, and status information back to the VCU. The AEM EV CCUs are very compact and lightweight, while offering high efficiency, stable charging, long life, a high-protection level, and high reliability. They are 100 percent driven via CAN by the VCU in conjunction with the BMS-18, and is not directly controlled by the charge plug connector or the off vehicle EVSE (Electrical Vehicle Service Equipment). Motorsports' most accurate and only patented weather station, the PerformAIRE air quality computer, is now available as a trailer mounted version. These Altronics PerformAIRE Paging Weather Centers are stand-alone systems using a remote sensor housing that can be located outside the trailer in the open air. The sensor housing is an aluminum white powdercoated extrusion with dual internal fans to keep fresh air moving for accurate air measurements. The control console can be mounted inside the trailer, where run and weather data can be entered and monitored using the data entry keypad and backlit LCD display. The Weather Centers monitor temperature, absolute barometric pressure, relative humidity, vapor pressure, and dew point. This information is transmitted into a microprocessor, where density, altitude, and predicted values (ETs and timer settings) are calculated and displayed with incredible accuracy through exact scientific equations, formulated specifically for internal combustion engines. Weather Station feature descriptions: * The RaceAir Cloud incorporates the ability to add Wind Speed and Wind Direction * You can now get updated ET and Throttle Stop predictions, as well as all of your weather variables direct to your phone. The text message feature will require an internet connection at the trailer. However, by using phone and tablet hot spots this has become easier than ever. * If purchased with the optional paging feature, you will receive your own closed circuit paging network that does NOT require any internet or cell phone service. This is the most reliable way to ensure you can get your up-to-date weather to the staging lanes regardless of cell service. When used in the RaceBase Logbook program or the Crew Chief Pager-enabled software, you can also get up-to-date ET Predictions. * The new sunlight intensity meter will give you a definitive value for how intense the sunlight was during the pass. With the new Sunlight value, you can measure the sun's intensity in terms of Lux x 1,000. This allows you to see exactly when clouds came in and what effect they had on other weather variables and your performance. * Computech supplies you with outdoor pole mounting brackets designed to fit in existing trailer flashing screw holes, and an indoor trailer storage bracket to keep your Cloud safe during transport. (Optional models include either a 4 to 8 ft. or 6 to 12 ft. expandable cam lock pole, as well as trailer storage brackets for the pole to ensure they are secured during transport.) * Setting up and flying your RaceAir Cloud is as simple as plugging the Cloud in, placing it on the pole, placing the pole in the supplied brackets and firing up the software. * RaceBase Weather software will automatically search for you and connect without you having to do anything. Simply open the software, plug in the weather station and turn it on. * When used hand in hand with a logbook program, your RaceAir Cloud gains the ability to text or page you up-to-date weather and ET or Throttle Stop predictions. With the included RaceBase Logbook program you can connect to the RaceBase Weather software, keep track of multiple cars, and input all the important run and setup information for each pass. Includes a single run prediction, database prediction, throttle stop prediction, Holley and fuel injection tuning, run completer, drag racing-specific formulas, and much more. * Optional Trailer Install Kit includes three separate cables: a short 2 ft. Interface Box cable, a 30 ft. or 40 ft. Trailer Wall cable, and an 8 ft. or 12 ft. Cloud cable. The trailer wall cable will come with one flange mount Deutsch pre-installed and the other end bare so you can run it through any trailer wall or flashing. Kits also come with open barrel terminals, shrink tube, and the final flange mount to finish the clean installation.
